Job Summary

We are seeking a senior Civil/Construction professional with strong experience in construction project execution, infrastructure development, contractor management, project planning, budgeting, quality control, and site supervision.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all civil construction and infrastructure-related activities of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all civil construction and infrastructure projects.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close construction and renovation projects.
- Supervise contractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and site teams.
- Ensure projects are completed within approved time, cost, quality, and safety parameters.
- Review and evaluate BOQs, estimates, drawings, tenders, specifications, and project proposals.
- Monitor construction progress through regular site inspections and project reviews.
- Manage project budgets, cost estimation, material requirements, and cost control.
- Coordinate with internal departments, architects, consultants, contractors, and government/statutory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, construction norms, and statutory requirements.




- Identify construction risks and take timely corrective actions.
- Oversee civil maintenance, repair, renovation, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Lead and manage the civil/construction team and ensure effective manpower deployment.
- Maintain proper documentation, project reports, progress reports, and contractor records.
- Support institutional leadership in infrastructure planning and long-term development projects.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:
- 13+ years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering, Construction, Infrastructure, or Project Management.
- Strong experience in construction project leadership and execution.
- Proven experience in handling contractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, estimation, tendering, drawings, costing, billing, and project monitoring.
- Excellent project planning, coordination, negotiation, and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple construction and infrastructure projects simultaneously.
- Experience in institutional, educational, commercial, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
- Robust leadership and decision-making capabilities.
