Role Overview

We are looking for a Growth Manager to help build and launch our consultation marketplace app from the ground up. The person will work closely with the founders to shape the product, marketplace model, launch strategy, analytics framework and customer-retention systems.

This is not a performance marketing role. It requires strong product thinking, data analysis and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct customer, competitor and market research to identify user needs and opportunities.
- Map customer and expert journeys and help define product requirements and feature priorities.
- Develop the go-to-market and early user-acquisition strategy.
- Design the expert onboarding, activation, quality-control and retention model.
- Define pricing, commissions, offers, wallet or recharge mechanics and marketplace unit economics.
- Establish analytics tracking for user behaviour, transactions, retention and marketplace performance.
- Build strategies for activation, repeat consultations, engagement, referrals and reactivation.
- Analyse funnels,



cohorts and customer segments after launch and convert insights into product and growth initiatives.
- Design experiments across onboarding, pricing, matching, offers and engagement.
- Coordinate with product, technology, design, marketing, operations and customer-support teams.

Requirements

- 5–8 years of experience in strategy, product growth, marketplace growth or business operations.
- Demonstrable experience launching or scaling a consumer app or two-sided marketplace.
- Robust understanding of product journeys, monetisation, retention and unit economics.
- Ability to convert customer and business problems into product requirements and execution plans.
- Strong analytical skills, including funnel, cohort and customer-segment analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; SQL knowledge is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Clevertap, MoEngage or GA4.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional product launches.
- Experience in consultation, astrology, wellness or another expert-led marketplace will be strongly preferred.
