A performance-first design role for someone who thinks in creatives that convert, not just visuals that look good - designing for social, ads, and marketplaces at As It Is Nutrition. ?
Our Mission As It Is Nutrition exists to make honest, effective sports nutrition accessible to every Indian household, not just gym bros. We're building India's biggest sports nutrition brand by putting real ingredients, real transparency, and real results above hype. Today we're the industry's best-kept secret; our mission is to become impossible to miss - a trusted household name millions of Indians reach for to fuel their everyday lives.
About The Org We are a digital-first business in the Sports Nutrition category, sitting at a scale of approximately 250 crores in revenue - making us the biggest brand in our category. The catch? We are still the best-kept secret in the industry - the biggest brand that not enough people have heard of yet.
Our current marketing squad is an agile, 4-member team which was heavily driven by our founders up until recently. We are in the middle of a massive transformation - setting up a structured marketing team to fuel our ambitious leap.
Historically, our core audience has been the dedicated "gym bros," but we are actively expanding our positioning to capture a much broader, mainstream audience.
If you want to be part of a hyper-growth story, and help transition a founder-led champion into a household corporate name, this is your sandbox.
The Role
We're looking for a performance-first Senior Designer, not a "visual artist." Your job is simple: design creatives that drive attention, trust, and conversion across social, ads, and marketplaces.
You'll Work Closely With
- Growth & Performance Team
- Social Media Team
- Copywriters
- Editors & Videographers
- Founders
What You'll Own (KRAs)
- Performance Creative Design (Core Ownership)
Design static ads (Meta, Google), social creatives (IG, YT), landing page visuals, and Amazon creatives (A+ content, product images) - focused on scroll-stopping visuals, clear communication, and conversion-first design. You own the question: "Does this creative make people stop and click?"
- Creative Testing Engine
Create multiple variations per concept - different layouts, hooks, and visual directions - to enable rapid A/B testing. You own the question: "How many testable creatives can we generate weekly?"
- Visual Communication & Clarity
Translate complex product benefits and the pain-to-solution-to-outcome journey into simple, clear visuals. You own the question: "Can someone understand this in 2 seconds?"
- Brand System & Consistency
Build and maintain visual identity, design systems, and templates - ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. You own the question: "Does everything look like one brand?"
- Platform-Native Design
Design differently for Instagram, ads, Amazon, and the website. You own the question: "Does this design fit the platform context?"
- Amazon & Conversion Design
Create product images, infographics, and A+ content. You own the question: "Does this improve conversion on marketplace?"
- Performance-Led Iteration (Critical)
Work with the growth team to understand what creatives perform and identify patterns - turning insights into better design directions and faster iterations. You own the question:
"How do our creatives improve week-on-week?"
- Cross-Team Collaboration
Work with copywriters on messaging, editors on video overlays, and the social team on content formats. KPIs - How You'll Be Measured
- CTR (Click-Through Rate): Target 15-30% improvement over baseline
- Conversion Rate (CVR): Contribution to landing page and Amazon conversions
- Creative Output Velocity: 15-25 high-quality creatives/week
- Variation Output: 3-5 variations per idea
- Winning Creative Ratio: 20-30% of creatives performing above average
- Visual Clarity Score: Message understood in under 2 seconds (qualitative but critical)
- Turnaround Time: Concept to final design in 48-72 hours
- Brand Consistency: Consistent look across ads, social, website, and Amazon
What "Positive" Looks Like
- Designs are simple, clear, and high-impact
- Thinks in layouts, hierarchy, and attention
- Understands Indian consumer behavior and D2C buying triggers
- Can answer: "Why did this creative perform?"
What We Don't Want
- Designers focused only on aesthetics
- Overly complex or cluttered visuals
- People who ignore performance data
Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in Photoshop / Illustrator / Figma
- Strong in Canva (for speed workflows)
- Experience with D2C brands, ad creatives, and social media design
Bonus (Big Plus)
- Experience in health / wellness
- Understanding of Amazon marketplace design
- Basic knowledge of video editing / motion
Other Details - Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore
