2.⁠ ⁠Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance

Ensure all operations comply with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and the Cosmetics Rules, 2020, including GMP requirements.

Maintain and renew manufacturing licences, including loan licence arrangements for client brands, in coordination with the Himachal Pradesh State Drug Controller and CDSCO as applicable.

Lead the plant through regulatory inspections, client audits, and certification audits such as ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP), ISO 9001, and other certifications required by clients (e.g., Halal, vegan, export-related).

Ensure labeling compliance with the Cosmetics Rules and the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules.

Establish robust documentation practices covering BMRs, BPRs, SOPs, stability records, change control, deviations, and CAPA.

- Oversee handling of market complaints and product recalls, if any.
