Requirements

- 2 to 4 years building production applications end to end

- Strong Node.js with TypeScript in production

- React in production. TanStack is a plus

- PostgreSQL: schema design, indexing, transactions, migrations

- Real experience integrating with enterprise or third party APIs

- REST API design with versioning

- Automated testing at unit and integration level

- Git, code review, CI/CD

- Hands on with GitHub Copilot or a comparable AI assistant in real project work

Strong plus

- MongoDB to PostgreSQL migration, or document to relational remodelling

- Event driven work with Kafka, Azure Event Grid or similar

- Azure or AWS, Docker

- OAuth2 and OIDC

- GDPR awareness
- German, useful but not required

AI led development

- You prompt well: transparent context, constraints, iteration

- You treat AI output as a first draft, and can defend every line in review

- You know where it helps and where it does not

- You never paste code, credentials or personal data into tools outside the agreed setup





Communication, non negotiable

- Fluent written and spoken English, confident in workshops and calls

- Explains a technical trade off without jargon

- Asks clarifying questions early instead of guessing

- Writes clearly: crisp pull requests, useful daily updates

- Raises blockers the day they appear, not at the sprint review
