We are looking for a passionate MERN Stack Developer Intern who is eager to learn, build, and grow in a fast-paced development environment. You will work closely with our team on real-world projects using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and AWS services, gaining hands-on experience in full-stack web development and modern workflows.

Internship Details

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Type: Internship (Unpaid)

Responsibilities

- Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Work with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB for backend and API integration.
- Deploy applications on AWS EC2 and assist in maintaining cloud environments.
- Collaborate with design and backend teams for consistent functionality and UI integration.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance.
- Contribute to code reviews and improve existing workflows.
- Learn and work with Git version control and Agile practices.

Required Skills

Frontend: Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)

Backend: Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, MongoDB

Tools: Git, GitHub, VS Code, Postman

Concepts

- Component-based architecture and React hooks
- State management (Context API or Redux preferred)




- Responsive design and modern UI/UX principles
- Basic understanding of authentication, APIs, and databases

Positive To Haves

- Understanding of OAuth, JWT, and authentication mechanisms
- Familiarity with AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM
- Knowledge of API rate limits, refresh tokens, and session management
- Experience with deployment platforms like AWS, Vercel, Render, or Netlify
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices
- Basic understanding of MongoDB Atlas and cloud databases
- Experience with environment variables and secure configuration
- Awareness of SEO and performance optimization in Next.js apps
