Role Description The Fire &

- Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for ensuring safe operations across manufacturing facilities and related infrastructure. The role includes conducting regular safety inspections, identifying fire and safety hazards, and implementing preventive measures in line with statutory requirements and company policies. The Fire &
- Safety Officer will develop and deliver safety training programs, coordinate emergency preparedness drills, and maintain fire protection systems, equipment, and documentation.



Daily activities also involve monitoring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, investigating incidents or near-misses, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The role requires close collaboration with operations, maintenance, and security teams to foster a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in risk management.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Health &
- Safety and Occupational Health practices, including relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience in Accident Investigation and incident reporting, with the ability to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Skills in Safety Training and awareness programs, including the ability to conduct drills and workshops for diverse teams.
- Understanding of Security protocols related to industrial safety, access control, and emergency response coordination.
- Diploma or degree in Fire &
- Safety, Industrial Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in fire safety or occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing or chemical industry environments, preferably in large-scale or integrated plants.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, SOPs, and safety guidelines, with strong communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in using safety management systems, incident tracking tools, and basic computer applications.
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and
