Position Title and Grade: Field Trainer (Grade 4) Position Type/Duration: Fixed-Term (One year with possibility of extension subject to organizational needs, satisfactory performance, and funds availability)
Number of Positions: 04 (Jamnagar, Gujarat - 3 positions; Wardha, Maharashtra - 1 position)
Position Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat; Wardha, Maharashtra
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week

Job Summary
Position Role: Field Trainer will play a crucial role in enhancing online safety for children. The trainer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to schoolteachers, ASHA workers, parents, and PRI members, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to prevent, identify, and respond to online sexual exploitation and abuse. This position aims to foster a safer online setting for children by empowering key community stakeholders with critical information and practical strategies. Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks; acquire and maintain the relevant knowledge and skills necessary to promote strong safeguarding practices; understand and adhere to ChildFund India s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures; and conduct yourself at all times in a manner consistent with ChildFund India s safeguarding principles and standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Organize and lead training and facilitate workshops for school teachers, ASHA workers, AWWs, parents, PRI members etc. on topics related to online safety and child protection.
- Foster strong relationships with community stakeholders to ensure active participation and support for the project.
- Assist in the design and implementation of awareness campaigns focused on preventing online sexual exploitation and abuse of children.
- Track the progress of training sessions, collect feedback, and assess the effectiveness of the training programs. Provide regular reports to Sr. Field Officer Program.
- Ensure the availability of necessary resources and materials for training sessions, and manage logistical aspects of training events.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments, tools, and techniques in online safety and child protection, incorporating this knowledge into training programs.
- Analyse capacity-building challenges and report any inconsistencies and/or gaps to inform adjustments to plans and implementation schedules.
- Coordinate and oversee working relationships with all local program stakeholders and mobilize local actors and promote program activities and impact.
- Facilitate and complete reports on all program activities and ensure all required documents are submitted undertake regular field visits across all schools, communities and provide supportive feedback, for implementation of program activities in line with agreed work plans and budgets.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, safety and security protocols and child protections norms.
- Provide inputs and support to Sr. Officer, Field Program and project team in developing different proposals or concept notes in accordance with ChildFund India and other funders templates, systems and requirements.
- Perform other related activities as assigned by the Supervisor Program needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in social work, Child Rights, Development Studies, Human Rights, or a related field is preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in training, teaching, or conducting workshops, preferably in child protection or online safety. Experience working with children, teachers, parents, and communities on child safety and online protection.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and the local language of placement.
- Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to plan, implement, and evaluate training programs effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with government, NGOs, and community stakeholders.

Evaluation and Selection Criteria
Step 1: HR Pre-Screening: All Job Applications received will be collated by HR and preliminary screening will be conducted based on the minimum education and experience requirements mentioned above. The Applicants that do not meet the education and experience criteria will not be considered further for the selection process. All the qualified applications will be handed over by HR to the Selection Panel. Step 2: Qualified applications will be further reviewed by the Selection Panel. The Selection Panel will assess and rank all the applications based on the following factors for a maximum of 100 points: Evaluation Factors Points Job Knowledge Academic Background 40 points Relevant Work Experience 40 points Digital Literacy Tool Proficiency 20 points Written test may conduct for the most highly rated applications.
Step 3: Based on the written test assessment, applications will be further shortlisted for Step 3 i.e. Interview. The applications will be evaluated by the Selection Panel for the final selection, based on the following evaluation factors for a maximum of 100 points.
