Role Description The Field Recruiter role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Chennai, with a mix of on-site client visits and some work-from-home flexibility.

The Field

Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and attracting candidates through field visits, local networks, job portals, social media, and community outreach. Daily tasks include screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating candidate assessments, and presenting suitable profiles to hiring managers. The role also involves building and maintaining candidate pipelines, managing recruitment documentation, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for selected talent.

Recruiter collaborates closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to understand workforce requirements, provide timely updates, and support high-quality hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions in the field.
- Experience coordinating recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews, conducting follow-ups, and supporting onboarding processes.
- Proficiency with recruitment tools and platforms, including job boards, social media, and applicant tracking or HR management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, clients, and internal teams.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle travel, field visits, and hybrid work schedules efficiently.
- Knowledge of local labor market trends in and around Chennai and familiarity with high-volume or blue- and white-collar hiring is an advantage.
- Educational qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant recruiting experience may substitute.
- Comfort working in a quick-paced, target-driven environment, with a commitment to fair, inclusive, and non-discriminatory hiring practices.
