Role Description The Field Operator role at Universal Air Products is a full time, on-site position based in Roorkee.

The Field

Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring air systems and related equipment, following standard operating procedures, and ensuring safe and efficient performance in the field. Daily tasks include conducting routine inspections, recording operational parameters, reporting abnormalities, assisting with basic maintenance, and supporting troubleshooting efforts under supervision. The role also involves coordinating with supervisors and technical staff,



adhering to safety and environmental guidelines, and maintaining accurate documentation of field activities.

Qualifications

- Ability to understand and follow technical instructions, standard operating procedures, and basic engineering concepts related to air products and industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, record-keeping skills, and the ability to monitor equipment and document operational data accurately.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to safety protocols, use of personal protective equipment, and awareness of environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and other field personnel.
- Willingness to work on-site in Roorkee and perform physically active tasks in an industrial environment.
- Prior experience in field operations, plant operations, or industrial utilities is beneficial.
- Relevant technical diploma, vocational training, or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial disciplines is an advantage.
