Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our Food & Beverage team as an F&B; Assistant. The ideal candidate will embody punctuality, creativity, and a strong commitment to following the chain of command within the hierarchy. They should thrive in a tropical island environment and be open to a demanding work schedule.

The primary focus of the F&B; Assistant will be to ensure that the guest experience is upheld at all times, maintaining the high standards set by the establishment.

- Minimum 2 years of experience of working in a restaurant
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, wines, spirits, cocktails and mocktails
- Salary depending on experience and skill level
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with a diverse team from different backgrounds and cultures

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional service to guests, delivering memorable dining experiences that exceed expectations.
- Assist with the setup and preparation of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and assist with seating arrangements.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.




- Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to established service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, inquiries, and feedback in a positive and proactive manner.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and coordinated service, and address any issues that may arise.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all F&B; areas, following established protocols and procedures.
- Assist with billing and payment processing, and handle cash and card transactions accurately and securely.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and practices is an advantage.
