Role Description The Fashion Designer role at MS INDIA SOURCING is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida.

The Fashion

Designer will create and develop apparel and accessory designs aligned with brand and client specifications, including sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards. Daily responsibilities include selecting fabrics and materials, coordinating with production and sourcing teams, and ensuring designs are feasible for manufacturing at facilities in India and Bangladesh. The role involves overseeing samples and fittings, refining designs based on feedback, and maintaining consistency in quality,



sizing, and aesthetics.

The Fashion

Designer will also monitor market trends, contribute to seasonal collections, and support communication with buyers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to translate concepts into commercially viable collections.
- Knowledge of Textiles, including fabric types, properties, and suitability for different product categories.
- Experience with Embroidery and embellishments, and understanding of their application in apparel and accessories.
- Competence in Fitting, garment construction, and working with pattern makers and sampling teams.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and technical specification sheets.
- Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and ability to work to timelines in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with sourcing, production, and client teams.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field; experience in export or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
