Fashion Designer – Design & Execution

Location: Pune, PCMC ONLY

Experience: 2–5 years

We are looking for a Fashion Designer who can take a design from ideation to execution and enjoys being closely involved in the complete creative process.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that fashion design is not just about creating beautiful sketches, but about understanding the client, developing the right design, coordinating execution, solving problems, and ensuring the final garment looks exactly as envisioned.

Key Responsibilities

Understand client requirements, preferences, occasions, and expectations.

Translate client conversations and ideas into clear design concepts.

Sketch designs quickly and effectively to communicate ideas and understand what the client is looking for.

Develop silhouettes, detailing, embroidery, fabrics, colours, and overall looks.

Work closely with tailors, embroiderers, pattern masters, production teams, and vendors to execute designs.

Follow the garment through different stages of production and ensure design intent is maintained.

Check fittings, finishing, detailing, proportions, and overall garment quality.

Make practical design decisions when challenges arise during execution.

Coordinate multiple garments/orders simultaneously while maintaining timelines.

Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams throughout the process.





Handle last-minute changes and execution challenges with calmness and problem-solving ability.

Ensure the final product meets the expected aesthetic, quality, and client requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Strong understanding of fashion, silhouettes, fabrics, construction, embroidery, and garment detailing.

Ability to sketch and communicate an idea immediately, especially during client interactions.

Strong execution knowledge — you should understand how a design will actually be made, not just how it looks on paper.

Good eye for proportion, colour, detailing, and finishing.

Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Stress management and a solution-oriented mindset are extremely significant.

Someone who takes ownership rather than simply handing over a sketch and considering the job done.

Ability to work collaboratively with craftsmen, production teams, and clients.

Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

- Prior experience in custom, occasion, bridal, ethnic, or designer fashion will be an advantage.
