Coordinate with Procurement and Planning to align purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material readiness for both cell and module lines.
Track vendor performance (quality, delivery, uptime support, spares availability) and maintain vendor scorecards; drive corrective actions and escalation where needed.
Arrange vendor visits, FAT/SAT discussions, AMCs, and technical reviews; ensure vendors support commissioning, ramp-up, and O&M; needs.
- Factory Coordination & Operations Support (PERC Context)
Coordinate day-to-day activities across Cell (texturing, diffusion, PSG removal, edge isolation, PECVD passivation, screen printing, firing, testing & binning) and Module
Ensure alignment between production plans and material availability (wafers, chemicals, encapsulants, BOM items) to minimize line stoppages.
Support implementation and adherence to SOPs, safety norms, cleanroom discipline, and housekeeping standards across cell and module shops.
Track key operational metrics (line utilization, yield, efficiency binning distribution, downtime reasons) and share concise updates with leadership.
- Presentations & Stakeholder Communication
Prepare and deliver clear presentations for internal reviews (production, quality, capacity, capex, expansion plans) and external stakeholders (investors, partners, customers, lenders).
Create status decks, dashboards, and one-pagers on factory performance, supplier issues, project milestones, and PLI/ALMM/BIS-related updates as needed.
Represent the factory in meetings with government bodies, utilities, and industry associations when required (TSRECO, TSPCB, local bodies,
MNRE-related interfaces).
- Team Development & Coordination
Coordinate training schedules for shop-floor teams (operators, technicians, quality inspectors) in coordination with HR and department heads, focusing on PERC process understanding and safety.
Support onboarding of new team members and ensure smooth handover of responsibilities across shifts and departments.
Facilitate cross-functional coordination between Production, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Maintenance, and Logistics to resolve issues quickly and reduce response time.
Drive a culture of accountability, timely communication, and continuous improvement (lean, 5S, Kaizen) on the shop floor.
- Compliance & Liaisoning (Factory & Schemes)
Coordinate with authorities for factory-related approvals, renewals, and inspections (Factories Act, Pollution Control, Fire NOC, local bodies).

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Chemical) or MBA with operations/supply-chain focus.
Preference for candidates with exposure to solar cell/module manufacturing or high-volume process manufacturing (semiconductor, electronics, chemicals).
Experience
5–9 years of experience in manufacturing / operations / vendor management / liaison roles,
ideally in solar cell/module manufacturing or related sectors.
Prior experience coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams in a factory setting; exposure to 200–500 MW+ lines is a strong plus.
