Role Description The Facilitator is a part-time or work for hire, on-site role based in Mysuru, responsible for coordinating and guiding employee volunteering activities. This role involves planning and organizing volunteering sessions, preparing materials, and ensuring logistics run smoothly at project locations. The Facilitator will brief participants, lead group discussions, and support volunteers throughout the activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
They will collect feedback, document outcomes, and work with internal teams and partner organizations to improve future initiatives.
The role also includes building relationships with community partners, monitoring project progress, and reporting on key metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong facilitation and group coordination skills, with the ability to engage diverse participants and manage sessions effectively.
- Experience in community outreach, volunteer management, or social impact programs, preferably within corporate or NGO settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling, logistics, and documentation for multiple initiatives.
- Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh and regularly visit project locations as needed.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, presentation software) for reporting and coordination.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability, zero-waste practices, and inclusive, non-discriminatory work environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, community development, education, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may also be considered.
