Job Purpose

Executive - Quality Control

- Implement and maintain QA procedures, SOPs, specifications, and quality systems.
- Review and maintain quality-related documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and internal quality standards.
- Review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Packing Records (BPR) and other manufacturing documentation.
- Handle deviations, incidents, CAPA, change controls and quality-related investigations.
- Support internal audits, customer audits and regulatory inspections.
- Conduct and support GMP and hygiene audits within the facility.
- Monitor compliance with approved procedures and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, R&D;, Warehouse and other departments for quality-related matters.




- Support investigation of customer complaints and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure data integrity.

Quality Control (QC)

- Perform and/or supervise sampling, testing and analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials and finished products.
- Ensure testing is carried out as per approved specifications, SOPs and test methods.
- Review analytical results and maintain laboratory records.
- Handle OOS/OOT investigations as applicable.
- Maintain laboratory documentation, logbooks, specifications and test reports.
- Ensure proper handling, storage and identification of samples.
- Coordinate with QA and Production regarding quality-related observations.
- Ensure laboratory practices comply with applicable GMP and safety requirements.
- Support calibration, qualification and maintenance activities related to laboratory equipment.
- Assist in maintaining proper laboratory housekeeping and safety standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Valuable knowledge of GMP, SOPs, Quality Management Systems and documentation.
- Understanding of QA/QC processes in Pharmaceutical/Nutraceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of BMR/BPR, specifications, sampling and testing procedures.
- Basic understanding of Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, OOS/OOT and Audit processes.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, R&D;, Warehouse and other departments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Preferred Industry Background Candidates with experience in any of the following industries are preferred:

- Food / Food Supplements

Eligibility

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in QA/QC.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience in a Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Food.
