Role Description The ETP Chemist will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring and control of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) at the Nagina site, ensuring treated water meets environmental and regulatory standards. This full-time, on-site role includes performing routine sampling, chemical dosing, and analysis of wastewater parameters, as well as maintaining accurate records and test reports. The ETP Chemist will support optimization of treatment processes, troubleshoot deviations, and coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve water quality issues.





The role also involves implementing safety and compliance procedures, assisting in audits and inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for the ETP and related environmental systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including sample collection, preparation, and use of analytical instruments.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control capabilities to monitor, verify, and document water and effluent quality against set standards.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret test results, identify root causes of deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills to evaluate new treatment methods, chemicals, and process improvements.
- Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of effluent treatment processes, environmental regulations, and safety practices in industrial settings.
- Ability to work in office in Nagina, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain clear technical documentation.
- Prior experience in an ETP or industrial wastewater treatment facility is preferred.
