Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Leather Equipment Merchandiser to manage the complete merchandising cycle of leather equipment and leather-based products. The candidate will be responsible for customer coordination, product development, costing, sampling, material follow-up, production coordination, quality monitoring, and timely order delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer enquiries, orders, specifications, tech packs, drawings, and product requirements.

- Coordinate with customers for product development, samples, approvals, specifications, and revisions.

- Develop and follow up samples as per customer requirements.

- Prepare product costing, BOM, material consumption, and quotation details.

- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for leather, accessories, hardware, trims, and other materials.

- Follow up with Production/PPC to ensure orders are completed as per planned delivery dates.

- Monitor order status from sampling to final dispatch.

- Coordinate with Quality to ensure products meet approved samples and customer specifications.

- Resolve production, material, quality, and delivery-related issues in coordination with concerned departments.

- Coordinate final inspection, packing, labeling, and dispatch requirements.





- Maintain order sheets, production follow-up reports, costing sheets, sample records, and other merchandising MIS.

- Communicate regularly with customers regarding order status, approvals, delays, and delivery schedules.

- Ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated to Production, Quality, Purchase, and other concerned departments.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of leather, leather goods, leather equipment, accessories, and hardware.

- Knowledge of leather quality, specifications, consumption, and material selection.

- Understanding of cutting, stitching, assembly, finishing, and packing processes.

- Strong knowledge of merchandising, costing, sampling, production follow-up, and order execution.

- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

- Strong coordination and follow-up abilities.

- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Email.

- Ability to prepare and maintain merchandising MIS and order status reports.

- Robust problem-solving and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict delivery timelines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
