Its testing facilities are accredited and approved by national bodies including NABL under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Environment and Forests, BIS, FSSAI, AGMARK, and the FDA for drugs and medicines testing.

Idma offers comprehensive expertise in environmental monitoring, impact assessment studies, civil and construction testing, microbiological and chemical analysis, food and pharmaceutical testing, and specialized studies such as toxicology and method development. Role Description The Environmental Sampling Professional will perform routine field and laboratory activities related to environmental monitoring and sampling of air, water, soil, and other relevant matrices. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting sampling campaigns, collecting and preserving samples in line with standard operating procedures, documenting field observations, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with laboratory teams for timely sample submission, maintaining sampling equipment, preparing basic reports,



and supporting environmental impact assessment and compliance projects.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bhubaneswar, where on-site field and lab work are combined with some work-from-home responsibilities for documentation, data review, and reporting.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Science and Environmental Policy to understand sampling protocols, regulatory frameworks, and impact assessment processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Compliance and Setting Health and Safety (EHS) to ensure safe sampling practices and adherence to environmental regulations and standards.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, interact with clients or stakeholders, and prepare clear field notes and basic reports.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Ability to perform fieldwork, including travel to sampling locations, and work in varied environmental conditions while following safety protocols.
- Basic knowledge of sampling equipment, field measurements, and standard laboratory practices; prior experience in environmental sampling or monitoring is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, good record-keeping skills, and familiarity with MS Office or similar tools for data entry and report preparation.
