Chanakya's Coaching Centre is a leading institute in Chandigarh preparing students for competitive government exams, including Banking, SSC, CDS, AFCAT, CAPF, and NDA. We're looking for an experienced English Language Teacher to join our faculty and help students master the English/Comprehension section across these exams.
Responsibilities
- Teach English Language & Comprehension for Banking, SSC, CDS, AFCAT, CAPF, and NDA exam patterns, covering grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, cloze test, para jumbles, and error detection.
- Design and deliver structured lesson plans, practice sheets, and mock tests aligned with the latest exam trends.
- Evaluate student performance through regular tests and provide targeted feedback to improve accuracy and speed.
- Stay updated on exam pattern changes across Banking, SSC,
and Defence exams and adapt teaching material accordingly.
- Support doubt-clearing sessions (offline and/or online) and mentor students on exam strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English for competitive exams (Banking/SSC/Defence exams preferred).
- Solid command of English grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension techniques as tested in competitive exams.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for students from varied academic backgrounds.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
