Responsible for maintenance, reliability and availability of HEMM equipment, ensuring secure and uninterrupted mining and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain HEMM fleet: excavators, dumpers, dozers, loaders, graders, drills and DG sets
- Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance as per OEM guidelines
- Ensure high equipment availability and reduced downtime
- Analyze breakdowns and implement reliability improvement measures
- Ensure compliance with DGMS, Mines Act and safety SOPs
- Plan critical spares and coordinate with stores/material teams
- Supervise mechanical manpower at site
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history and MIS
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-8 years in HEMM maintenance in mining operation
