About the Role

We are looking for an Engagement Manager – Finance & Accounting Consulting to lead end-to-end consulting engagements for clients in the Manufacturing domain .

The role involves client relationship management, project/engagement management, F&A; transformation, stakeholder management, team leadership, financial management, and continuous improvement . The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting background and a proven track record of delivering high-impact programs across business and IT/digital capabilities.

Experience: 10–12 years (relevant experience in F&A; consulting, finance transformation, advisory, or consulting-led project management)

Location: Pan India

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Finance & Accounting consulting engagements from inception through completion.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact for consulting engagements.
- Work with clients to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and expectations .
- Lead project teams across planning, execution, delivery, and quality assurance .
- Manage project timelines, resources, requirements, risks, budgets, and deliverables .
- Identify potential issues proactively and drive timely resolution in collaboration with Engagement Directors and internal teams.
- Manage communication with senior business, IT/digital, and internal stakeholders through status meetings and presentations.




- Lead and develop high-performing consulting teams and foster a collaborative delivery culture.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and resource planning in coordination with PMO and account teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancement, efficiency gains, cost optimization, and technology enablement .
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to improve consulting and service delivery.

Must-Have Skills

- Extensive experience in Finance & Accounting Consulting .
- Strong hands-on experience across multiple industry sectors ; Manufacturing exposure is an advantage.
- Proven experience in finance transformation, consulting, or advisory engagements .
- Track record of delivering high-impact programs and projects .
- Experience working across business and IT/digital capabilities .
- Strong client-facing, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven project/engagement management experience with ownership of scope, delivery, resources, timelines, and quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced consulting workplace .

Preferred Skills

- Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Lombardi/Cicero , or similar ERP/IT applications.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies .
- Understanding of Finance Transformation, process optimization, digital enablement, and operational excellence .

Qualification Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Economics .
