Dear Candidate,

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware design & Verification & Validation (V&V;) / Functional safety (Railway/Automotive)

Engineer.

He/She will be responsible for ensuring Platform Screen Door (PSD) systems comply with Embedded Software with safety-critical firmware applications / SIL2 safety requirements, railway standards, and customer specifications through structured verification, validation, and safety lifecycle activities.

Role & responsibilities

- ARM base/STM32 Microcontroller base embedded system C/C++ Communication interface drivers for (CAN / RS485 / Ethernet)

Control and close loop algorithm for controlling BLDC motor

Static and Agile analysis like LDRA for IDE VS Code or Cube IDE

Debug firmware using debugger & Use JTAG / SWD





SIL2 safety lifecycle activities as per IEC 61508 and EN 50128/50716

Develop software according to Functional Safety requirements

- Follow safe coding practices
- Implement fail-safe mechanisms
- Implement watchdog / monitoring logic

Desirable Skill Set:

- Define and execute system V&V; strategy
- Perform hazard analysis, risk assessment, and safety requirement traceability
- Support V&V; plans and traceability matrix
- Support FAT, SAT, system integration and commissioning tests
- Verify PSD interfaces with signaling, train control, emergency systems
- Act as technical interface for Independent Safety Assessor and metro authorities
