The Electronics Buyer is responsible for procurement and supply assurance of electronic components and assemblies required for production and current product development. The role involves supplier coordination, commercial negotiations, purchase order management, inventory control, and ensuring timely availability of materials while meeting cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing

- Procure electronic components and assemblies as per production and project requirements.
- Release and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
- Coordinate with planning and stores teams for material availability. Supplier Management

- Manage relationships with approved suppliers. Resolve supply-related issues in coordination with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost. Commercial Activities

- Support annual cost reduction initiatives.




- Track commodity price movements and market trends. Inventory & Supply Planning

- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
- Ensure availability of critical electronic components. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams.
- Participate in supplier issue resolution and corrective action activities. Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Support audits and internal control requirements. Components/Commodities Handled

- Integrated Circuits (ICs), Microcontrollers (MCUs) , MOSFETs and Power Devices, PCB and PCBA Assemblies , Sensors and Actuators, Connectors and Terminals, Displays and HMI Components, Resistors, Capacitors, and Inductors, Electronic Modules and Controllers
