Role Summary:

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for the safe, effective, and reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 33 KV / 11 KV substations, transformers, switchgears, HT/LT panels, and associated electrical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure zero downtime, compliance with statutory electrical safety standards, and effective management of daily power distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Substation Operations: Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of 33/11 KV substations, ensuring stable power supply and load balancing.

- Maintenance &
- Troubleshooting: Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of 33 KV transformers, Circuit Breakers (VCB/SF6), Isolators, CT/PT units, and relay protection panels.

- HT/LT Network Management: Oversee high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) lines, cable jointing, termination, and distribution panels across the plant/facility.

- Fault Diagnosis: Quickly isolate and troubleshoot electrical faults, tripping issues, and power fluctuations to minimize downtime.

- Safety &

- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to IE (Indian Electricity) rules,



statutory regulations, and plant safety protocols (LOTO procedures, use of PPE, earthing checks).

- Logbook &

- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of daily power consumption, log sheets, breakdown history, equipment testing, and oil temperature/BDV test reports.

- Vendor &

- Team Coordination: Coordinate with external electricity boards (DISCOMs), supervising contractors, and internal maintenance teams for routine shutdowns and emergency repairs.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in 33 KV / 11 KV substation operation and maintenance within a manufacturing plant, power utility, or large industrial infrastructure.

- Experience in a university, hospital, large campus, industrial plant, commercial complex, or similar high-load facility will be an advantage.

- Valid Electrical Supervisor License (mandatory as per state electrical inspectorate norms).
