Role Summary

We are looking for a technically capable Automation & Electrical Engineer to support our electrical engineering and project execution activities.

The candidate will be responsible for working with PLC, Drives, HMI and industrial automation systems and will coordinate with the Electrical, Mechanical Design, Production, Purchase, Project and Vendor teams.

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in industrial automation, PLC programming, drive configuration, HMI development, troubleshooting and commissioning.

The candidate will be required to work with or develop knowledge of the following automation platforms:

1. ABB – PLC, Drives & HMI
2. Siemens – PLC, Drives & HMI
3. Delta – PLC, Servo Drives & HMI

Technical Knowledge Requirements
- Strong understanding of electrical and industrial automation fundamentals
- Basic to good knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Understanding of PLC input/output, digital and analog signals
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of industrial control panels and control circuits
- Understanding of AC/DC Drives, VFDs and Servo Drives
- Understanding of HMI screens, alarms, parameters and basic troubleshooting
- Knowledge of sensors, relays, contactors, motors and other industrial electrical components
- Basic understanding of PLC-HMI-Drive communication
- Willingness to learn and work on multiple automation platforms

Note: Candidate does not necessarily need to have hands-on experience in all three brands at the time of joining. However, the candidate must have a strong foundation in PLC, Drives and HMI and be willing to undergo training on ABB, Siemens and Delta systems. Training & Development The selected candidate will be provided/required to undergo technical training in:

- ABB – PLC, Drives & HMI
- Siemens – PLC, Drives & HMI
- Delta – PLC, Servo Drives & HMI
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Drive commissioning and parameterization
- HMI configuration
- Industrial communication
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting

The candidate may also be required to attend external/corporate training programs and practical hands-on training as arranged by the Company.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in PLC programming, modification and troubleshooting
- Support configuration and commissioning of PLC, HMI and Drives
- Assist in electrical control panel testing and troubleshooting
- Support commissioning activities at project sites when required
- Coordinate with Electrical and Project Engineers for automation requirements
- Review electrical drawings and control schematics




- Assist in preparing PLC/HMI documentation and technical records
- Maintain automation program backups and project documentation
- Support testing of PLC inputs/outputs and field instruments
- Assist in drive parameterization and fault diagnosis
- Coordinate with automation vendors for technical issues and support
- Track project automation activities and provide status updates
- Assist in resolving electrical and automation-related issues during machine commissioning
- Coordinate with Mechanical Design, Production and Project teams for machine automation requirements
- Prepare technical reports, checklists and commissioning records
