Position: Economics Teacher

Level: Class X - XII (Commerce)

Education Requirement: MSc in Economics, B.Ed

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

St. Joan’s School, Kolkata invites applications from experienced and passionate Economics Teachers to teach Classes X–XII (CISCE – ICSE & ISC)

We are looking for candidates with:

- A Master’s degree in Economics with B.Ed.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills
- Prior experience teaching Economics at the ICSE/ISC level
- Experience teaching ISC Classes XI–XII will be highly valued
- Ability to develop conceptual understanding, analytical thinking and examination skills
- A student-centred and engaging approach to teaching
- Familiarity with current CISCE curriculum and assessment requirements

Preferred Criteria:

- Previous experience in teaching senior secondary classes (X - XII).
- Experience working in an ICSE-affiliated school.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing classroom and academic activities.
- Commitment to student-centred teaching and the ability to adapt different teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Willingness to contribute to school events, activities, and exhibitions.




- Capacity for motivating students to achieve their personal best and succeed in both academics and extracurricular activities.
