Role Description This full-time, on-site Ecommerce Accountant Manager role is based in Gurugram and supports the company’s financial operations for ecommerce business channels. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing daily accounting activities, and ensuring accurate recording of journal entries related to ecommerce transactions, returns, commissions, and platform fees.

The Ecommerce Accountant

Manager will reconcile accounts, track fixed assets, monitor cash flows related to online sales, and coordinate with internal teams and external platforms to resolve financial discrepancies.

Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies,



and generating timely reports for management. The role also involves improving accounting processes for ecommerce operations, assisting in audits, and contributing to finance-related decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret data, support decision-making, and improve ecommerce financial performance.
- Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Journal Entries (Accounting) to ensure accurate reporting and month-end closing.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Fixed Assets management to track, record, and reconcile asset-related transactions.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and Excel, including reconciliations, data analysis, and report generation.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of ecommerce operations, marketplace platforms, and related fee structures.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with finance, operations, and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
