DP Mathematics Teacher (Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation)

Position Overview The DP Mathematics Teacher is responsible for teaching IB Diploma Programme Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA) and/or Mathematics: Applications & Interpretation (AI) at Standard Level (SL) and/or Higher Level (HL). The teacher fosters conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and real-world application in alignment with IB philosophy and assessment requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

Plan, teach,



and deliver DP Mathematics AA and/or AI courses in accordance with the IB Mathematics subject guides

Develop inquiry-based, concept-driven lessons that promote critical thinking and mathematical communication

Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and abilities

Integrate technology and appropriate digital tools (e.g., graphing calculators, software) effectively

Promote academic honesty and ethical use of technology

Assessment & Feedback

Prepare students for internal assessments (Mathematics IA) in AA and AI

Guide students through mathematical exploration, modeling, and communication for IA completion
