Role Description The Drafting Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and documentation for residential interior projects. Day-to-day tasks include converting design concepts into accurate CAD drawings, layouts, and working plans for execution teams and vendors. The role involves coordinating with designers and project managers to refine drawings, ensure measurements and specifications are precise, and incorporate client feedback into updated plans.

The Drafting

Specialist will also assist in creating 2D layouts, basic 3D views, and joinery details, while maintaining drawing standards and organized project files.



Collaboration with site teams for clarifications, adherence to timelines, and support in resolving design and execution discrepancies are integral to the position.

Qualifications

- Strong technical drafting skills with proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and ability to produce accurate 2D plans.
- Knowledge of interior design detailing, joinery, materials, and finishes, with the ability to translate design concepts into explicit working drawings.
- Good understanding of measurements, ergonomics, and spatial planning for residential interiors, ensuring functional and practical layouts.
- Effective collaboration skills to work with designers, project managers, and site teams, including clear communication and responsiveness to feedback.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple drawing sets and revisions within project timelines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Drafting, or a related field, with prior experience in residential interior projects preferred.
- Comfort with on-site coordination, occasional site visits for measurement verification, and familiarity with local building practices and standards.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to company-specific design standards, processes, and quality expectations in a premium design environment.
