ABOUT THE ROLE An Alberta-based trucking company running a fleet of 40-50 reefer and dry van trucks in cross-border freight between Western Canada and the United States is hiring experienced dispatchers to work remotely from India.

You would join a small team as a direct contractor, working alongside our Canadian dispatch desk. This is a real dispatch seat, not a data entry job, and it grows.

WHAT YOU WILL DO - FROM DAY ONE

- Prepare and file Canadian and US customs eManifests (ACI / PARS / PAPS) and send crossing packets to customs brokers
- Create orders and build trips in our TMS - assign trucks, trailers and drivers, split border legs, update arrival and departure times
- Track and trace - pickup and delivery updates, ETA management, responding to broker and customer tracking requests
- Communicate with drivers on WhatsApp and by phone on status, paperwork and border documents
- Use AI tools to speed up repetitive work, check documents and monitor loads for exceptions

WHAT THIS GROWS INTO

- Planning inbound and outbound truck coverage as you learn our lanes
- Booking freight against rates and CPM we have already set, once you have proven your judgement

Rate negotiation and broker relationships stay with our Canadian office - but the planning and booking side is genuinely yours to grow into.

THE STANDARDS WE HOLD

- Drivers are answered within 2 minutes, always. If you cannot solve it immediately, you acknowledge immediately
- Customers and brokers are replied to or escalated within 5-10 minutes
- Speed matters, but accuracy is not negotiable. A wrong customs filing costs real money and real goodwill, and this line of work has no margin for error
- Mistakes are self-reported straight away. We do not blame anyone for an honest error - we do expect it not to repeat

WHAT WE NEED

- 2+ years hands-on US or Canada truck dispatch experience (carrier side or dispatch BPO)
- Working knowledge of customs filing - ACI, ACE, PARS, PAPS eManifests




- Confident in a TMS and on load boards
- Proficiency with AI tools, and the judgement to verify output rather than trust it. We will ask you specifically what you use and how
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Fluent Punjabi and/or Hindi - you will speak with drivers daily
- Available for rotating shifts covering our 24/7 operation, weekends included, with rotating days off
- Someone sharp who learns fast. If we have to explain the same thing repeatedly, this will not work for either of us

WORK FROM HOME REQUIREMENTS (MANDATORY)
- Own laptop or desktop, i5 or better, 8GB+ RAM
- DUAL MONITOR SETUP - you will be in several systems at once and this is not optional
- Wired broadband 50 Mbps+ with a mobile hotspot as backup
- Power backup - inverter or UPS
- Quiet space for calls and a working headset
