About Tuuteez

Tuuteez is an AI-powered learning platform built around Lumi — a personal AI tutor who knows the student's textbook, syllabus and learning journey. We are building a brand that goes beyond another EdTech product: helping students understand, learn and become more confident, while giving parents a meaningful learning companion for their children.

The Role

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive who wants to build, not just execute. The role sits at the intersection of Content, Social Media, Performance Marketing, Analytics, Audience Understanding and Growth.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable moving from: “What are students struggling with?” → “What content will make them stop scrolling?” → “How do we distribute it?” → “Did it work?” → “What do we change?”

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management

- Own day-to-day execution across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and relevant emerging platforms.
- Manage content calendars, publishing, captions, hooks, CTAs, hashtags/keywords and community engagement.
- Monitor comments and DMs; track trends, competitors and weekly performance.
- Understand why content worked or failed — not simply whether it received views.

1. Content & Creative Execution

- Develop content ideas based on real student and parent pain points.
- Create strong hooks and Reel concepts around learning struggles, difficult concepts, curiosity, exam pressure, homework and academic confidence.
- Work with writers, designers and video editors to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
- Ensure all content is aligned with Tuuteez's positioning and Lumi's role as a personal AI tutor.

1. Performance Marketing

- Support and execute campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube and other relevant acquisition channels.
- Handle campaign setup, targeting, creative/copy testing, A/B testing, budget monitoring and optimization.
- Track leads, sign-ups, trials, customer acquisition cost and conversion performance.
- Understand CPM, CPC, CTR, CPL, CAC, conversion rate and ROAS.

1. Analytics & Reporting

- Prepare regular reports covering reach, engagement, saves, shares, follower growth, clicks, views, watch time and retention.
- Track paid marketing and funnel metrics from content through sign-up, trial, activation and paid conversion.
- Answer: What happened? Why did it happen? What should we change next?

1. Audience & Competitor Research

- Continuously study student and parent pain points, competitor positioning, content strategies, EdTech trends and search/social behaviour.
- Turn research into actionable content, campaign and growth opportunities.

1. Website & Conversion Optimization

- Work with the team to improve the digital funnel from content → landing page → sign-up → trial → activation → paid conversion.
- Identify drop-offs and recommend tests for messaging,

CTAs, landing pages and campaigns.

1. Marketing Experiments

- Regularly test hooks, creatives, messaging, audience segments, CTAs, landing pages, ad formats and acquisition channels.
- Structure experiments as Hypothesis → Execution → Measurement → Learning → Next Action.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with founders, marketing, content, design, video, product, sales/customer-facing teams and external agencies where applicable.
- Brief clearly, follow up on deliverables, maintain deadlines and protect execution quality.

Who We Are Looking For
- Curious: naturally asks “Why?” and investigates performance.
- Data-driven: connects metrics to decisions rather than reporting vanity numbers.
- Creative: understands hooks, storytelling, formats, trends and audience psychology.
- Proactive: identifies the next marketing chance without waiting for daily instructions.
- Fast learner: comfortable learning new platforms, tools and strategies.
- Ownership-oriented: investigates underperformance instead of blaming the algorithm.
- Execution-focused: turns ideas into finished work on time.

Required Skills
- 1–3 years of digital marketing experience.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and YouTube.
- Basic-to-good understanding of Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Content marketing, copywriting and social media analytics.
- Familiarity with GA4 and Google Search Console.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Basic SEO understanding.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to create and interpret marketing reports.

Good to Have
- EdTech or startup experience.
- Performance marketing and YouTube growth experience.
- Influencer marketing and landing-page optimization.
- CRM/funnel understanding.
- Experience with AI tools, Canva or basic video editing.

What This Role Is NOT

- Not a role for someone who only schedules posts.
- Not a role for someone who copies competitors without understanding the audience.
- Not a role where followers and views are treated as the only definition of success.
- Not a role for someone who needs to be told what to do every day.
- Not a role for someone uncomfortable with numbers, testing or accountability.
- Not a role where poor performance is explained away as “the algorithm.”

First 90 Days — Expectations First 30 Days — Understand
- Understand Tuuteez, Lumi, target audiences, competitors, existing content and marketing funnel.

- Audit digital channels and establish baseline KPIs.
- Identify immediate content and growth opportunities.
- Deliverable: Digital Marketing Audit + 30-Day Action Plan.

Days 31–60 — Execute
- Execute the content calendar, launch/test campaigns, establish reporting and begin creative testing.
- Identify winning content formats and audience engagement opportunities.
- Deliverable: Performance Dashboard + Experiment Tracker.

Days 61–90 — Optimize & Own
- Identify winning content pillars and audiences; optimize paid campaigns and acquisition efficiency.
- Build repeatable processes and recommend budget allocation and growth opportunities.
- Deliverable: 90-Day Growth Review + Next-Quarter Growth Plan.

Key Performance Indicators
- Brand: relevant reach, engagement quality, audience growth and brand awareness.
- Content: views, watch time, retention, saves, shares and engagement rate.
- Acquisition: website traffic, sign-ups, trial users, CAC and conversion rate.
- Paid Marketing: CTR, CPC, CPL, CAC and ROAS.
- Overall: quality of learning, speed of execution and measurable improvement.

We do not expect every campaign to succeed. We expect the candidate to learn quickly when one doesn't.

Ideal Candidate

Experience: 1–3 years. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media or a related field is preferred, but demonstrable skills and results matter more than the degree. Candidates with startup projects, successful content pages, YouTube growth or hands-on campaign experience should be considered.

Interview Process

- Round 1 — Screening: experience, communication and digital marketing fundamentals.
- Round 2 — Practical Assignment: audience understanding, content thinking, creative ability, marketing logic and data interpretation.
- Round 3 — Founder/Marketing Interview: ownership, creativity, strategic thinking, startup mindset and ability to execute independently.
- Round 4 — Final Evaluation: culture fit, role expectations and compensation.

Mandatory Practical Assessment Give shortlisted candidates a real Tuuteez problem. Ask them to create 5 Reel concepts targeting 13–18-year-old students and their parents, including the hook, target audience, CTA and success metrics.

Then ask: “One Reel gets 100,000 views but almost no sign-ups. Another gets 12,000 views but generates significantly more trials. Which one is more successful and why?”

This test helps distinguish someone who understands marketing and growth from someone who only understands social media.

The Person We Want

We are looking for someone who can grow from Digital Marketing Executive → Digital Marketing Owner → Growth Marketer.

The right candidate will not only ask, “What should I post today?” They will ask: “What does our audience need to hear, why will they care, how do we reach them, and how do we prove it worked?”

Pay: ₹10,239.35 - ₹25,095.95 per month

Benefits

- Flexible schedule

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka 560034
