We are looking for an experienced Manager – AutoCAD to lead the CAD design function for retail interior projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on AutoCAD expertise combined with proven experience managing a team of CAD designers, driving design quality, and ensuring timely delivery across multiple retail store formats (HiStreet & Mall).

Responsibilities:

● Lead, mentor, and manage a team of CAD designers/executives, allocating work and reviewing output to ensure quality and timely delivery.

● Own the end-to-end creation and review of detailed design drawings using AutoCAD software for Retail

Shops (Hi-Street & Mall).

● Partner with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business and design requirements into accurate, buildable CAD drawings.

● Oversee the development of detailed floor plans that optimize retail space, factoring in traffic flow, product placement, and customer experience.

● Establish and enforce CAD drawing standards, templates, and best practices across the team.

● Review designs for accuracy, compliance with building codes and regulations, and adherence to project specifications and timelines.





● Coordinate with cross-functional teams (site execution, procurement, vendors) to resolve design-related queries during project execution.

● Track project timelines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and report progress to senior management.

● Drive continuous improvement in design processes, tools, and team productivity.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

● 6-9 years of experience in AutoCAD design, with at least 2 years in a team lead/managerial role,

specifically in the Retail interior design industry.

● Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of CAD designers.

● Proficient in AutoCAD software; experience with other design software (3D/rendering tools) is an added advantage.

● Robust command of AutoCAD 2D drawing is a must.

● Deep understanding of interior design principles, building codes, and retail space planning.

● Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
