Role Purpose The Design Co-ordinator sits between the design and production functions at the Obeetee Craft Studio, keeping design projects on schedule, ensuring specifications reach the floor correctly, and acting as the single point of coordination across a design cycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the design project calendar, tracking each piece from brief through to studio handover.

- Translate design specifications into explicit, production ready documentation for the craft team.

- Coordinate between designers, painters and production staff to resolve queries and keep work moving.

- Track samples, approvals and revisions, and maintain a clear record of decisions taken at each stage.

- Flag schedule risks early and propose realistic recovery plans.





- Support the design team with vendor and material coordination where a project calls for it.

Skills and Qualifications

- A formal design degree, with three to five years of experience in a design, craft or production coordination role.

- Strong organisational discipline and comfort managing several concurrent design projects.

- Clear communication across design, craft and production teams with differing priorities.

- Working knowledge of design documentation and specification practice within a craft or manufacturing setting.
