Remuneration: Up to 1.50 Lakh per month

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. (CS/IT) or MCA with at least 60% marks

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and MySQL database administration. The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, securing, and optimizing databases in production environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, upgrade, and administer PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
- Monitor database performance and perform performance tuning and query optimization.
- Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes.
- Ensure database security, access control, and data integrity.
- Perform database migration and provide production support.
- Monitor database health, availability, and capacity.
- Troubleshoot database-related performance and operational issues.
- Implement database monitoring and automation processes.
- Support HA/DR setup and management.




- Maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and operations.

Required Skills & Expertise

- Robust hands-on experience in PostgreSQL and MySQL database administration.
- Experience working with databases in production environments.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience in database monitoring, performance tuning, and automation.
- Strong understanding of backup, recovery, replication, and HA/DR.
- Experience supporting large-scale or mission-critical applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/IT or MCA.
- Minimum 60% marks.

Experience

- 58 years of relevant experience in database administration.
- Candidates with strong production-level PostgreSQL and MySQL experience are preferred.
