About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for building and productionizing AWS data pipelines, developing AI agents, and creating robust backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python programming and AWS cloud services, with the ability to work seamlessly across Data Engineering, AI, and Backend Development domains, from initial design through deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise and practical experience, including:

- Proven experience in Python development,



particularly in building scalable and efficient data pipelines and backend services.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, Athena, Glue, and Step Functions.
- Strong knowledge of data ingestion, ETL processes, and experience with PySpark and AWS Glue.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices for AI agents and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices in software engineering.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security, secrets management, logging, and monitoring, with Terraform experience preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion and ETL pipelines utilizing Python, PySpark, and AWS Glue to support analytics and AI applications.
- Orchestrate complex workflows and data processing tasks using AWS Step Functions, managing data layers within S3, Athena, and Glue Catalog.
- Build and deploy Python-based REST APIs and microservices to support AI agents, front-end interfaces, and enterprise systems.
- Implement authentication, validation, logging,



and monitoring mechanisms to ensure secure and reliable backend services.
- Handle integrations with other systems and services, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Containerize applications and manage deployments using CI/CD pipelines, adhering to best practices in DevOps.
- Follow Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, utilizing Terraform or similar tools to automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and testing to facilitate continuous improvement and scalability of solutions.
