Role Description The Data Analytics Trainer role at GrowthX Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the trainer will design and deliver data analytics curricula, including lectures, hands-on labs, and project-based learning for cohorts of learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, conducting interactive classroom sessions, guiding learners through tools and techniques, and providing feedback on assignments and capstone projects.

The trainer will regularly assess learner progress, offer one-on-one support, and collaborate with other faculty and staff to refine course content based on industry trends and learner outcomes. Additional duties may involve contributing to curriculum updates, participating in community events or workshops,



and supporting placement or career guidance activities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in data analytics concepts, including data cleaning, exploratory analysis, visualization, and basic statistical methods.
- Proficiency with common analytics tools and languages such as spreadsheets, SQL, Python or R, and modern visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience teaching, mentoring, or conducting training sessions for adult learners, ideally in a technical or analytics-focused environment.
- Ability to design structured learning modules, break down complex topics into clear steps, and adapt teaching style to different learning needs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, encourage participation, and provide constructive feedback.
- Comfort working in office in a collaborative setting in Bengaluru, with the ability to coordinate schedules, manage classroom logistics, and support cohort activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative, technical, or related field (such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics) is preferred.
- Prior industry experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles, and familiarity with current market practices and tools.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered instruction and a strong interest in helping individuals build or transition into analytics careers.
