About the Role
FlairList Global is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst Intern who can help establish and maintain a structured, accurate and reliable data system across the organization.
This role is not limited to entering numbers into spreadsheets.
You will work on the company's data across marketing, sales, clients, consulting, exports, operations, finance and other business functions, ensuring that information is properly recorded, organized, maintained and presented in a way that helps management make better decisions.
Your responsibility will be to help transform:
Raw Data → Structured Data → Meaningful Reports → Insights → Projections → Business Decisions
You will work closely with different teams to ensure that company data is maintained in a regulated, standardized and easily accessible manner.
Your Role — What You'll Work On1. Company-Wide Data Management
- Enter, organize and maintain company data across relevant departments.
- Ensure data is recorded in a structured and standardized format.
- Maintain master databases and centralized records.
- Ensure information is updated regularly and accurately.
- Identify missing, duplicate, outdated or inconsistent information.
- Maintain proper data categorization and naming conventions.
- Ensure important company information can be easily retrieved when required.
Your goal will be to help create one reliable source of truth for company data. 2. Data Entry, Collection & Maintenance
Collect and maintain data from:
- Marketing
- Social Media
- Sales
- Leads
- Client Onboarding
- Consulting
- Export/Import
- Operations
- Finance
- HR
- Business Development
- Other relevant company functions
Responsibilities include:
- Data entry
- Data cleaning
- Data validation
- Data updating
- Data reconciliation
- Record maintenance
- Identifying data gaps
Ensure that information coming from different teams follows a consistent structure and format. 3. Data Governance & Standardization
Help establish and maintain basic data governance practices across the organization.
This includes
- Standardizing how data is entered.
- Creating consistent data fields and categories.
- Maintaining standardized naming conventions.
- Defining required fields for important datasets.
- Preventing unnecessary duplication.
- Identifying incorrect or incomplete records.
- Maintaining version-controlled reports where applicable.
- Establishing clear processes for updating important datasets.
The objective is to ensure that: Different teams don't maintain different versions of the same information.
4. Data Accuracy & Quality Control
Regularly review company data for:
- Errors
- Duplicates
- Missing information
- Incorrect entries
- Inconsistent formats
- Outdated records
- Data anomalies
Perform regular data-quality checks and coordinate with relevant teams to correct discrepancies. Maintain a high standard of accuracy, completeness and consistency.
5. Data Visualization & Dashboards
Convert raw company data into clear, easy-to-understand visual reports and dashboards.
Create relevant dashboards and reports using tools such as:
- Excel
- Google Sheets
- Power BI
- Looker Studio
- Other relevant analytics tools
Visualize:
- Sales performance
- Lead generation
- Marketing performance
- Client acquisition
- Revenue
- Conversion rates
- Export opportunities
- Business performance
- Operational metrics
- Other relevant KPIs
The objective is to make important information understandable at a glance.
Instead of
“Here are 10,000 rows of data.”
The output should answer
“What is happening, why is it happening, and what should management pay attention to?”
6. Management Reporting
Prepare regular reports for management and leadership.
Reports may include
- Daily/weekly/monthly performance
- Sales reports
- Marketing reports
- Lead reports
- Client reports
- Revenue reports
- Department-wise performance
- Business development reports
- Export/trade activity
- Operational performance
Present information using appropriate:
- Tables
- Charts
- Graphs
- Dashboards
- KPIs
- Comparisons
- Trends
Reports should be accurate, concise and decision-oriented. 7. Business Intelligence & Insights
Don't just report what happened.
Analyze the data to identify:
- Trends
- Patterns
- Growth opportunities
- Performance gaps
- Bottlenecks
- Anomalies
- High-performing channels
- Underperforming areas
- Customer/client patterns
- Revenue opportunities
Answer questions such as:
- Which channel generates the highest-quality leads?
- Where are we losing potential clients?
- Which services are growing fastest?
- Which marketing activities are producing results?
- Which business segments are performing better?
- Where are operational delays occurring?
- What has changed compared with the previous period?
Translate data into actionable business insights. 8. Projections & Forecasting
Use historical and current data to create basic business projections and forecasts.
Depending on available data, this may include:
- Revenue projections
- Lead projections
- Sales forecasts
- Conversion projections
- Client acquisition forecasts
- Marketing performance projections
- Growth projections
- Pipeline forecasts
- Operational projections
Use appropriate analytical methods and clearly communicate the assumptions behind projections. The objective is to help management understand:
Where are we today → Where are we heading → What could happen next?
9. KPI Tracking & Performance Monitoring
Help define, maintain and track relevant KPIs across departments.

Create reporting systems that allow management to identify performance against targets. 10. Department-Wise Data Coordination
Work with different departments to ensure their data is submitted and maintained properly.
- Coordinate with department heads and team members.
- Establish regular data collection schedules.
- Follow up on missing information.
- Identify inconsistencies between departmental data.
- Consolidate data into central reporting systems.
- Help teams understand the correct way to record and submit information.
You will act as a data coordination point across departments. 11. Automation & Process Improvement
Identify repetitive data-related tasks that can be improved or automated.
Explore ways to
- Reduce manual data entry
- Automate recurring reports
- Create dynamic dashboards
- Improve data collection
- Reduce human errors
- Simplify reporting
- Improve information accessibility
Use formulas, spreadsheets, scripts, dashboards or other appropriate tools where applicable. 12. Ad-Hoc Business Analysis
Management may require analysis for specific business questions.
You may be asked to analyze:

Important Note
This is not a basic data-entry internship.
Data entry and maintenance are an important part of the role, but the larger objective is to develop a structured company-wide data environment and turn that data into useful business intelligence.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable doing both:
The detailed work of maintaining accurate dataANDThe analytical work of turning that data into insights and projections.
Accuracy, confidentiality, discipline and consistency are extremely important for this role.
