Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Cyber Security Specialist to protect our organization’s networks, applications, and sensitive data against digital threats. In this role, you will monitor security events, conduct vulnerability assessments, implement robust defensive mechanisms, and lead incident response activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Threat Monitoring & Detection: Continuously analyze SIEM alerts, system logs, and network traffic to identify suspicious activity, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access.
- Incident Response: Investigate security breaches from initial triage through containment and resolution, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Perform regular vulnerability scans across applications, networks, and cloud environments, prioritizing remediation efforts with IT teams.
- Infrastructure Hardening: Configure and maintain core security controls, including firewalls, EDR solutions, WAF, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems.
- Security Audits & Compliance: Support internal security reviews, audit requests, and ensure adherence to security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIST).




- Security Awareness: Help enforce security policies and conduct periodic security awareness updates for employees.

Qualifications & Required Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related technical field.
- Work Experience: 1 to 4 years of proven hands-on experience in SOC operations, cybersecurity analysis, or network security.
- Core Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and web architecture.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, or Elastic).
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS).
- Hands-on experience with EDR/Antivirus management and Firewall rules administration.
- Basic scripting capabilities using Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.

- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate
- eJPT / Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
