Company Description Punarjjani Cultural Centre for Research and Education (PCCRE) is a non-profit cultural research and documentation initiative dedicated to documenting and preserving India’s performing arts heritage. PCCRE undertakes research-based documentation of artistes, practices, institutions and cultural histories through credible sources and primary information.
Role Description We are looking for a Cultural Research Intern for a one-month paid internship. The role primarily involves conducting secondary research, collecting and verifying information, and preparing artiste profiles as part of PCCRE’s ongoing cultural documentation work. Interns will work with credible sources, organise research material,
maintain source information and contribute to the documentation of India’s diverse performing arts traditions.

Qualifications

- Robust research and writing skills
•
- Genuine interest in Indian culture, heritage and performing arts
• Good attention to detail and ability to verify information from credible sources
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Ability to manage assigned work and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in cultural research is not mandatory; willingness to learn and conduct careful, credible research is essential.
