Role Overview

We are looking for a CRA Associate to handle first-level credit and risk screening, KYC/document verification, data validation, case preparation and coordination with internal teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct first-level screening of customer applications as per CRA eligibility criteria.
- Verify KYC, GST, business registration, financial and other supporting documents.
- Validate customer/business information against documents and system records.
- Identify missing, expired, mismatched or inconsistent information.
- Review bank statements, ITRs and CIBIL/credit bureau reports.
- Verify business entity details including Proprietorship, Partnership, LLP, Pvt. Ltd. and Public Ltd. companies.
- Maintain accurate case records and update CRA/CRM/ERP systems.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations and customers for pending documents and clarifications.




- Prepare complete cases for further credit/risk assessment.
- Escalate exceptions, unusual cases and potential risk indicators to the reporting manager.
- Maintain MIS, track pending cases and ensure timely case closure.
- Follow CRA checklists, SOPs and defined quality standards.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of KYC and basic credit-risk concepts.
- Ability to understand business and financial documents.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Robust attention to detail.
- Good MS Excel and system-handling skills.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and high volumes.

Requirements

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Banking, Business Administration or related field.

Preferred Background

Candidates from Banking, NBFC, Fintech, Credit Operations, KYC/AML, Underwriting, Risk Assessment or Financial Services are preferred.
