Role Description The CPC Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Pune Division. The CPC Trainer will deliver classroom-based and small-group training sessions on CPC-related medical coding concepts, guidelines, and best practices. This role includes developing and updating curriculum materials, lesson plans, practice questions, and assessments aligned with current industry standards.

The trainer will evaluate learner performance, provide constructive feedback, and offer individualized support to help participants prepare for CPC certification exams and employment opportunities.



The CPC Trainer will also collaborate with internal teams to refine training content, maintain quality standards, and ensure that course outcomes meet the needs of learners and hiring organizations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of medical coding systems and guidelines, including CPT, HCPCS, ICD, and CPC exam requirements.
- Experience in classroom instruction, training delivery, or adult learning facilitation, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Skill in curriculum development, lesson planning, and creating assessments or practice materials for certification preparation.
- Ability to provide personalized coaching, evaluate learner progress, and give constructive, actionable feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and robust interpersonal skills for working with diverse learner groups.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to accuracy in coding and documentation.
- Certification as a CPC or equivalent professional coding credential; additional coding certifications are an advantage.
- Prior professional experience as a medical coder in a clinical, billing, or revenue cycle environment is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in healthcare, life sciences, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division and manage multiple batches or courses as needed.
