1. Patient Counselling

- Welcome patients and attendants in a courteous and professional manner.

- Understand the patient's eye-care needs and concerns.

- Explain the diagnosis and recommended treatment in easy, understandable language.

- Counsel patients regarding cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, refractive procedures and other eye treatments as applicable.

- Explain the benefits, risks, expected outcomes and limitations of recommended procedures as directed by the doctor.

- Clarify patient and attendant doubts and concerns.

1. Surgery Counselling

- Counsel patients recommended for surgery and explain the complete treatment process.

- Explain pre-operative investigations and preparation requirements.

- Explain surgery scheduling, admission/day-care procedures and expected duration.

- Explain post-operative precautions, medication and follow-up requirements.

1. Cost & Package Counselling

- Explain approved treatment packages, investigation charges and other applicable hospital charges accurately.





- Provide information about available payment options and insurance/TPA procedures.

- Never promise discounts, outcomes or facilities without proper authorization.

- Ensure that all financial information given to patients is accurate and transparent.

1. Patient Conversion & Follow-up

- Follow up with patients who have been advised surgery or further treatment.

- Identify reasons for postponement or non-conversion.

- Address genuine patient concerns and coordinate with the concerned department when required.

- Maintain records of counselling, surgery bookings and follow-up calls.

- Work towards improving consultation-to-surgery conversion while maintaining ethical patient care.

- Coordinate with the doctor, OT, nursing and billing teams for smooth surgery planning.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
