Job Overview

We are looking for a Costing & Estimation Engineer with strong technical knowledge of HT & LT Electrical Panels. The candidate will be responsible for preparing BOQs, cost estimates, technical-commercial quotations, and tender submissions for panel manufacturing and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare BOQ, BOM, cost sheets and quotations for HT & LT panels.
- Prepare costing for PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, VFD, Control Panels, Feeder Pillars, Metering Panels and HT Panels.
- Study SLD, GA drawings, control schematics, tender documents and technical specifications.
- Understand and estimate costs for VCB, ACB, MCCB, contactors, relays, CT/PT, busbars, meters, protection devices and other panel components.
- Coordinate with vendors for material prices, technical offers and cost comparisons.
- Calculate material, fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing and other project costs.

Mandatory Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of HT & LT Electrical Panels is mandatory.




- Good understanding of HT/LT panel components, switchgear and protection systems.
- Ability to read and understand Electrical SLDs, GA drawings and control wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of panel manufacturing, busbar sizing, copper/aluminium requirements, enclosure, components and wiring.
- Understanding of HT VCB panels, LT PCC/MCC/APFC and automation panels.

Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in HT/LT Panel Costing & Estimation.
- Experience in electrical panel manufacturing / switchgear / automation / EPC industry preferred.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and costing formats.
- Candidates with only general electrical estimation experience but no HT/LT panel knowledge are not preferred.
