1. Costing & Cost Control

Prepare and analyze cost estimates for engineering goods, sub-assemblies, and services.

Implement standard costing systems and maintain cost records.

Conduct product-wise, project-wise, and department-wise cost analysis.

Determine material, labor, and overhead costs using actual and standard cost methods.

Monitor production processes to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Evaluate subcontracting and in-house manufacturing cost differences.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

Coordinate with production, procurement, and project teams for realistic budget planning.

Track budget vs. actual performance and analyze variances.

Provide input in pricing decisions and margin analysis based on cost structures.

3. Financial Analysis & Reporting

Prepare detailed costing reports, profitability analysis, and margin contribution analysis.

Generate management reports for decision support on product lines and projects.





Assist in internal and external audits with required cost-related documentation and reports.

Experience in fabrication, machining, EPC projects, or custom-engineered goods

Hands-on experience with job costing, activity-based costing, and process costing

Exposure to ISO, lean manufacturing, and quality standards from a cost perspective

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com, BBA, etc.)

Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) qualification preferred

7+ years of relevant experience in cost accounting within an engineering/manufacturing workplace

In-depth knowledge of engineering manufacturing processes

Proficiency in ERP system

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

Excellent communication and interdepartmental coordination abilities

Attention to detail and accuracy in costing practices
