About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Core Banking Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive expertise in core banking platforms, banking operations, and transformation programs. The ideal candidate will provide functional leadership, support business and technology teams, and play a key role in the successful implementation, enhancement, migration, and support of core banking solutions.

This role requires deep domain knowledge across retail and corporate banking products, banking operations, regulatory requirements, and core banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Expertise

- Act as the Functional SME for Core Banking systems and banking operations.
- Provide expert guidance on end-to-end banking processes, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, use cases, and test scenarios.
- Conduct impact assessments for new product launches, enhancements, and regulatory changes.

Program & Project Support
- Support Core Banking implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation programs.
- Work closely with business, technology, vendors, and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.




- Participate in solution design discussions and provide domain expertise.
- Support system integration, interface design, and data migration activities.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and system functionality.

Testing & Production Support
- Provide functional support during SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Production Validation.
- Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases, and business validation documents.
- Participate in defect triage meetings and root cause analysis.
- Support issue resolution and production incident management.
- Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements.

Knowledge Management
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and team members.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and functional trainings.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and operational guidelines.

Customer & Deposits

- Customer Information File (CIF)
- Customer Onboarding & KYC
- CASA (Current Account, Savings Account)
- Term Deposits & Fixed Deposits

Lending Payments & Transactions

Finance & Accounting

Credit Management
