Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and driving organizational efficiency across all interior contracting projects. The COO will lead cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations, and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. This role involves establishing and refining operational processes, collaborating closely with the leadership team on business strategy, and aligning operations with client expectations and company goals.





The COO will monitor performance metrics, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and support business development efforts by strengthening client relationships and contributing to proposals and negotiations. The role also includes mentoring senior managers, fostering a collaborative culture, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and company policies.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in operations leadership, preferably as a COO or senior operations manager in interior contracting, construction, or related industries.
- Strong project and program management skills, including planning, budgeting, resource management, and risk mitigation.
- Expertise in process optimization, quality management, and adherence to ISO or similar standards.
- Solid understanding of commercial fit-outs, interior execution workflows, and coordination of multidisciplinary site activities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, develop talent, and build a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience using project management and ERP tools, along with proficiency in standard office software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
- Proven track record of managing multi-location operations and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Capacity to work on-site at project locations
