NControlling Analyst
nJob Purpose:
NThe APAC Operational Controlling Analyst is responsible for executing and continuously improving recurring Controlling processes across the APAC Controllership organization. The role centralizes standardized operational controlling activities requiring accounting knowledge, financial analysis and professional judgment, enabling Country Controllers to focus on business partnering, governance and strategic initiatives.
NThe position acts as the Controlling Centre of Excellence (COE) for recurring regional controlling activities, driving process standardization, operational efficiency, data quality and automation across APAC. Working closely with Country Controllers, BU Finance, Treasury, Tax and GBS, the role strengthens financial transparency while supporting continuous improvement of APAC Controllership operations.
NMain Responsibilities:
NRegional Operational Controlling (Primary Responsibility):

- Execute centralized recurring Controlling activities across APAC.

- Standardize operationalControlling processes across business units and countries.
N
- Ensure consistency, quality and efficiency of recurring Controlling deliverables.

- Continuously improve regional Controllership operating procedures.
N
- Perform other responsibilities and special assignments as delegated by the APAC Controller.

nOperational Performance Controlling:

- Perform recurringsales, gross margin and inventory performance monitoring.
N
- Analyze operational trends and identify unusual financial movements.
N
- Perform variance analysis supporting Country Controllers.
N
- Monitor key operationalKPIs and financial indicators.
N
- Support management decision-making through operational financial analysis.

nBalance Sheet Governance Support:

- Execute recurringbalance sheet governance activities.
N
- Support Balance Sheet Review process across APAC.
N
- Analyze inventory reserve movements, accrual reasonableness and working capital trends.
N
- Perform recurring financial risk analysis.
N
- Support Controllers in maintaining high-quality balance sheet governance.
N
nCommercial Controlling Support:

- Perform recurringhedge exposure monitoring and analysis.

- Support Transfer Pricing execution and monitoring.
N
- Support intercompany COE compliance
N
- Perform recurring financial analysis supporting commercial operations
N
nRegional Controllership Excellence:

- Standardize recurring Controlling activities across APAC.

- Identify opportunities to eliminate manual work.
N
- Improve data quality and financial consistency.
N
- Develop standardized Controlling book and best practices.
N
- Promote process harmonization across APAC.
N
nBusiness Partnership:

- Collaborate with Country Controllers on recurring operational Controlling activities.

- Support BU Finance, Treasury, Tax and Supply Chain with Controlling expertise.

- Coordinate recurring financial analysis supporting regional business decisions.

- Provide analytical support during budget, forecast and operational reviews.

nQualifications, skills and experience:

- Bachelor's degreeor above in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- CPA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred

nExperience:

- Minimum 5-6 yearsof relevant experience in Controlling / Accounting
N
- Robust experience in manufacturing costing and/or trading entity controlling
N
- Experience working withShared Service Centers
N
- Experience in ERP systems (e.G., SAP, Navision, JDE, Vax), including system implementation or upgrade is a strong plus

- Experience in multinational environment preferred
