What you'll do

- Write and publish conference-site content: about pages, scientific session descriptions, call-for-abstracts pages, venue and city guides, FAQs, registration copy
- Write speaker and committee profiles from CVs, publication records, and institutional bios
- Produce topical blog content around clinical specialties, research trends, and career/CPD, health, topics for an academic audience
- Work from SEO briefs - hit the target keyword, structure, word count, and internal links without making the copy read like it was written for a crawler
- Maintain accuracy: cite credible sources, get terminology and credentials right, never invent statistics, names, affiliations, or study findings
- Update and refresh existing pages each event cycle - dates, agendas, speakers, themes
- Write supporting copy where needed: email invites, ad copy, social posts, brochure text
- Publish directly in WordPress - formatting, headings, images, alt text, meta title and description, internal linking

Must have

- Writing experience, ideally in health, science, education, or academic content
- Excellent written English - clean grammar, controlled tone, no fluff
- Ability to read and correctly summarize research abstracts, clinical topics,



and academic material
- Comfortable writing to an SEO brief and hitting a deadline without chasing
- Hands-on WordPress publishing experience
- Honest about what you don't know; willing to research properly rather than guess

Good to have

- Life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, psychology, or public health background
- Familiarity with YMYL/E-E-A-T standards and why they matter for health content
- Experience with events, conferences, or scholarly publishing
- Basic on-page SEO knowledge
- Ability to use AI tools as a drafting aid while still producing work that reads human and is fact-checked

How we workDirect communication, rapid iteration, minimal meetings. You'll get a brief and a deadline, and you'll be trusted to deliver. Volume matters, but accuracy matters more - one wrong clinical claim on a site read by clinicians costs us more than ten missed articles.
