Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Community Health Worker role based in Delhi, India.

The Community Health

Worker will conduct regular outreach in communities, provide health education sessions, and share information on preventive care, nutrition, hygiene, maternal and child health, and common illnesses. The role includes visiting households, identifying health needs, supporting early intervention, and guiding individuals and families to appropriate healthcare services and government schemes.

Worker will coordinate with local health facilities, maintain accurate records of activities and beneficiaries, and prepare simple reports for program monitoring. The role also involves organizing community meetings,



supporting health camps and awareness drives, and collaborating with internal program teams and external partners to strengthen community health outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong community outreach and engagement skills, including the ability to build trust with diverse groups and work respectfully in low-income and marginalized settings.
- Knowledge of basic public health concepts, preventive healthcare, maternal and child health, and familiarity with local health services and government schemes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain health information clearly in simple language; proficiency in Hindi is required, and local languages are an advantage.
- Ability to collect and maintain accurate data, complete basic documentation, and prepare easy activity reports using paper or digital tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to plan field visits, manage multiple tasks, and work independently as well as in a team.
- Commitment to gender equality, non-discrimination, and safeguarding principles, with a respectful and inclusive approach toward all community members.
- Minimum education at secondary or higher secondary level; a certificate or diploma in public health, social work, nursing, or a related field is an added advantage.
